How to countdown the New Year with your kids at a time you want

We know that routine and stability are important for children with special needs even when they are on a school break.  For many parents, New Year's Eve presents a dilemma. Do you give in to your kids' requests to stay up late and celebrate the New Year or try to get them to sleep on schedule? 

Netflix has a solution to this dilemma. This year, your children can count down the New Year with King Julien, the lovable lemur from Madagascar. Netflix offers a special 3-minute programme called King Julien's New Year's Eve Countdown. This program features lively music, dancing and King Julien's countdown.  It is a great way to celebrate the New Year with your children and keep their usual bedtime schedules. The program is available on demand from Netflix.

If you want to start the kids' celebrations earlier, episodes of the new Netflix original series All Hail King Julien are also available on demand.
